You forgot someone saying “I have to pee” right after you finally get them dressed and to the pool….
or worse… 2 mins after you are in the pool and are fully dressed AND soaking wet.
A few years ago I took my young nephews to the lake for an afternoon of sun, fun, diving off the dock and swimming. They took a dunk and announced “ok, we’re ready to now!” My husband and I were in shock. Disbelief. It eventually became a beloved catchphrase- now it’s funny…But all these years I thought it was a one off! I don’t have kids so I didn’t know it was a thing! I feel seen! Haha
