Oh, Cris, what a wonderful story! I am so glad you have that yearbook as part of the story of your relationship. And too funny about the last kiss that brought the curtain down!

The urge to purge remains strong, even though we don’t travel as much anymore. It’s just too easy to accumulate stuff and then forget about it…]]> When my husband and I downsized to go ff travelling, I decided to return all the hand written letters I had received from close friends over the years. I thought they would be nice memories for them to have, as most of them contained details of their teenage lives. Unfortunately none of my friends seemed very happy with this gift, and they certainly didn’t offer to return any of the letters I had sent them over the years (which they had probably already trashed 😂). The urge to purge remains strong, even though we don’t travel as much anymore. It’s just too easy to accumulate stuff and then forget about it…

MOM: Continuing clearing the house. A bit of a weird ? Do you want Marianne? There is a woman who collects dolls, so she would go to someone who would take good care of her.

ME: Hmm let me think. This kind of feels like you’re telling me my dog is going to live on a farm.

MOM: I hear it’s a very nice farm and Marianne would have lots of new friends

ME: Wait is there actually someone who collects dolls though?
