Hi Emily, thanks so much for sharing your note! We mark all our sponsored posts as “sponsored,” but we realized that if we check a secondary category (like, style or food or travel or motherhood), the post ends up displaying just that category, versus displaying “sponsored” as the category. The Paris trend post was marked as “sponsored” AND “style,” but was only showing “style.” We have now fixed this, and moving forward we will mark our sponsored posts only as sponsored (and not any other category) to avoid any confusion. xoxo

I think sometimes when you are traveling certain things like colors stick out and you start seeing them everywhere!

Hi Jo – personally sponsored posts don’t bother me, but I’m also not seeing any note near the top that says sponsored and often only seeing that it’s sponsored at the very end. I think it also shows differently on the web vs phone. For example, the Old Navy post very clearly shows “sponsored” when viewing on the phone, but not on the computer. However, neither Paris post shows that it’s sponsored on either method, only at the very end of the post. I hope this is helpful!
